How to Apply
Ready to join us?
If you are interested in joining us at The Castle Rock Sixth Form, please contact the college regarding applications for 2026 entry.
Most schools and colleges guide students through the application process for Post 16 providers. If your school or college isn't doing this, you'll need to apply independently.
All Post 16 applications are processed through PS16, an online system accessible in the link below.
Steps to Apply:
- Create an Account: Sign up on PS16 and complete all relevant sections.
- Select Castle Rock: Choose Castle Rock Sixth Form and your preferred subjects.
- Current School or Provider: Select 'Out of Area or Not Listed' if your school isn't listed.
- Request a Reference: Ask your current school for a reference and submit your form.
We will contact you to confirm receipt of your application.
Application Process
Step 1
Create an application
Applications via PS16 for 2026 entry are now closed. Please contact the college for further information.
Late applications will be added to a waiting list. Applicants submitting after the deadline are not guaranteed an interview, and applications will only be processed subject to available places.
Step 2
Submit your application
Once submitted, your application will be checked by the Admissions Team. We'll be in touch if there is any additional information we need.
If any of your contact details change, please contact the Admissions Team so that these can be updated. It is important that this information is kept up to date so we can stay in touch throughout the application process.
Step 3
Interviews
All applicants who apply by the deadline are offered an interview, the date of which will be sent via email and published on your applicant portal.
The interview may take place at Castle Rock Sixth Form, or at your current secondary school.
Step 4
Places offered
You will told at interview if you have been offered a place to study at Castle Rock Sixth Form. Offers are either Confirmed, Conditional or Aspirational. All offers are subject to you achieving the minimum entry requirements for your chosen subjects. We will be in touch through the academic year with key events and information, please see the timeline below for key dates.
Step 5
Enrolment
Enrolment starts from Thursday 20 August 2026. If you are unable to attend enrolment then you should contact the Admissions Team as soon as possible to discuss your options.
