Emma Parker

Emma has worked on the Castle Rock campus since 2013 when she first joined the school (King Edward VII College) as a teacher of Dance. Undertaking numerous roles of responsibility, including Head of Dance and Media Studies, Acting Head of Faculty, Deputy Head of Sixth Form and Team Leader for Sixth Form and Vocational Courses, she has worked within the Sixth Form team for several years.

Emma is determined that The Castle Rock Sixth Formers are given equal opportunities to excel both academically and holistically and ensure that they progress onto careers of their choosing once leaving the school. She has a National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership alongside two National Teacher of Year Awards for the delivery of BTEC Qualifications. She considers the Head of Sixth Form role as a privilege and an honour. Her passion lies in supporting students through the final steps of formal education as they prepare for the wider world
